VeinNevada Internet Site Accessibility Policy

Accessibility Policy

We desire to make our specialties and services accessible for all users, including individuals with disabilities. To ensure individuals with disabilities have access to our services, we aim to improve the accessibility and usability of our internet sites for the largest number of people possible. We are striving for the highest level of accessibility for individuals with disabilities and making every reasonable effort to ensure that our internet sites are accessible by persons who use assistive technologies such as automated tools, keyboard-only navigation, and screen readers.

We are now in the process of updating our internet sites to implement applicable portions of the Section 508 Web Accessibility Standards developed by the United States Access Board, as well as the World Wide Web Consortium’s (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0, as VeinNevada's web accessibility standard.

The internet site accessibility will be programmatically evaluated, as well as tested with assistive technology, including but not limited to screen readers and screen magnifiers. We will also engage users with disabilities who use these technologies to assess the internet sites. These processes will help to facilitate accessibility for individuals, regardless of disability or device used to access information on our internet sites.

At regular intervals, we will audit our internet sites to ensure conformance with our web accessibility standard and/or to establish where support and guidance is needed to facilitate internet site accessibility efforts.
