Erin Ghan, PA-C
Erin Ghan, PA-C, is a Nevada native, born and raised in the Carson Valley. She joined the Vein Nevada team in 2020. Within her role as a Physician Assistant at Vein Nevada, Erin provides new patient consultations, physical exams, and post-procedural follow-ups. Erin performs diagnostic assessments and develops care plans. She is actively involved in patient education and offers preventative health care advice.
Erin completed a Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Dominican University of California. Prior to pursuing PA school, she earned a Master of Arts in Spanish from the University of Nevada, Reno. She worked as a Spanish instructor for the Basic Spanish Language Program at the University of Nevada, Reno and Truckee Meadows Community College. Erin completed her undergraduate studies in Biology and Spanish at the University of Nevada, Reno.
During her physician assistant training, Erin selected elective rotations in Emergency Medicine and Burn Surgery, where she gained experience performing laceration repair, wound care, surgical debridement, and skin grafting. Erin has a background in healthcare; her work involved serving as a wound care technician, where she assisted with wound vacs and dressing changes, and as a physical therapy aide, where she instructed patients on balance and strength exercises and utilized laser therapy, TENS units, and ultrasound under physical therapist guidance.
